In the world of Tollywood a twinkling star is going to introduce to Telugu people as a hero. He is the son of Megastar Chiranjeevi. When his father is ruling the Telugu film industry, at this stage itself, he is also entering in the films. After NTR’s family members most of the family members are from Chiranjeevi only. Nagababu, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun and later Charan Teja have been entered into tollywood.

Under the veteran producer Aswini Dutt and Dynamic director Puri Jaganath, his debut film’s shooting is yet to be started. Charan Tej pronouncing that acting with equal age heroines is a thrilling experience to me that too in combination with my dad. Megastar in exultation said I have to act competitively with my son. With little bit shy, little bit politeness, and moreover with self confidence Charan Tej shared his views with “Andhra Jyothi” daily.
As a simple person
Having millions of fans and their delight ness, I feel fear and responsibility also. But according to my age and acquaintance I try to handle in best way. I can’t say I will perform greatly, but work hard and try to win the hearts of Telugu people. The expectations by fans of Megastar will be more. Sometimes I feel stress when I think about this. Hence I’m trying to be a simple and ordinary person rather than the son of Chiranjeevi. My thoughts are how to dance, fight and act as per the given roles only and nothing else. I’m trying to give best performance in my limits and not the son of Megastar and I’m not interested to satisfy the Chiru fans, because if I’m in such a mood I cannot escape from stress.
I’m as Myself
There will be suggestions from my papa, but more than that, he will be observing my performance how I’m delivering dialogues, how my style of action is and so on. His advices for me to take the decision of feat render to my wish, and not to depend on him. However if any doubts arise he will clarify, but never interfere or force me in any matter, and I have been given full opportunity and freedom.
Megastar Vs Dad
There is a difference between Megastar and my Dad. He never used to carry or discuss professional matters in home. Such matters are restricted to his office only which is in ground floor. As I’m his admirer and his son what I observed in him was he is a gentleman and humanitarian not only in the hearts of his fans, but in the home affairs also, as he maintains and teaches the same with us too. I was surprised with his hard working nature, sincerity in his profession, punctuality etc. Recently during the shooting of SHANKAR DADA his dedication, commitment and sincerity in his role, embarrassed me. In every movie some sort of meaning and inspiration will be exposed in his films which impressed me a lot.
Mother…
Due to my father’s busy schedule I used to spend most of my time with my mom. When I expressed my affection to enter in movies the first person who felt happy and encouraged was my mom.
During my childhood, I was not interested in films and wanted to do any business. But at my 16’s I used to see my dad’s films and dance for his steps. Beholding my curiosity my dad sent me for dance training classes. Consequently I brought to the notice of my mom regarding my interest in films, and with concurrence of my dad I have joined in acting classes. I used to learn dance daily in the evening after my studies. My childhood studies were at Ooty boarding school and I learnt Horse riding also. Now it has become very much useful for me.
Thai Boxing in Bangkok
As I am anxious in dance since child-hood, I used to imitate my dad. Regarding acting, I have taken training at Mumbai. Namith, kishore were very famous, and they have given very good training. Even I learnt few types of dance in London. Presently, I learnt ‘Thai Boxing’ in Bangkok for my forth-coming film. It is same like kick boxing but it’s a local marshal art there.
Hrithik Roshan Makeup Man
In the issue of make-up we are taking extensive care. Mainly we are trying for different styles of make-ups. Keeping in view of commercial image and present new trends in cinema field we are concentrating on Make-Up, and Costumes. In this connection Hritik Roshan’s make-up man ‘James’ was brought to tollywood for my film, hoping, if the story of film is good and make-up & style combines then, audience encouragement will be more in getting success of the film.
Negative… Positive
My father is a big asset to me. His image and personality supports me a lot. I have to upgrade my self to my dad’s level and status, otherwise it impacts negatively. As I have Cine Back-Ground it helps me as a launching pad. Fans expect the same hard work sincerity, dedication and moreover talent from me too.
Internal Competition
With my entering into this field I think that I have competitors beginning from my home only. Yes, but it’s a good competition for me. I don’t know the difficulty in external competition. There is a tough competition for me and Arjun from child-hood. That was a thrill and we were enjoyed a lot and we were getting appreciated by ourselves. I believe on fate apart from hard work also. Not only fate, but we have to utilise correct time in correct place along with smart hard working.
Mass roles… with cool
Since child-hood I used to be very sensitive and silent person with less voice. I learnt Karnataka Music, hence I like melody songs, and songs became a part of my life. My friends and relatives used to say that as you are soft and sensitive, why can’t you listen mass songs and be a fast, otherwise how can you act in mass films. But I say let it be mass or class I am ready to perform all varieties of actions and try to entertain all sections of people.
